According to reports, Ford Motor Company achieved target sales of 100,000 trucks with the smaller V6 eco-boost engine last Wednesday.
According to the Group Marketing Manager of F-Series trucks, Doug Scott, it was in 1985 that the company had sold that many pickups.

The first of these F150 pickups was sold in February and the take rate hit 40% by May, which has remained that high ever since.
The F150 trucks are manufactured at Dearborn Truck and Kansas City assembly plants.
